New perspective article on scientific revolution in the age of Generative AI now published in npj Artificial Intelligence journal. It captures the community consensus on GenAI’s potential for accelerating scientific discovery, discussed at the second NSF workshop on AI-enabled scientific revolution, which anticipated many of the priorities now embraced in the America’s AI Action Plan such as AI-ready datasets, standardized evaluation, robust infrastructure, and interdisciplinary training.
